Misty the Cat needs a home

3/27/2010 UPDATE!  Misty is now in foster care and unfortunately does not like other cats, so she's been spending a lot of her time outdoors with a heated box.  She will come inside occasionally for a nap, but is then anxious to go outside again.  Misty will do best as an ONLY cat and might be great for her to maintain an indoor/outdoor home if a safe environment
can be provided.

It's possible, however, that once an only cat again she may do fine with and inside home only situation.  She also tends to not fair well with young
children.


5/5/09 "Misty" is a beautiful young tabby just under 2 yrs old that desperately needs a home since her family who adopted her when she was six weeks old no longer has time for her.  She's kept mostly in the basement since the single Mom feels her young boys are too active and scare her.

Misty (I'm sure) is longing for attention and would probably love to feel part of a family once again.  Please consider giving Misty a place in your home where she can feel loved again.

Misty is already spayed, current with vaccines, and has tested negative for
FIV and FeLV.

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
